Clay Jars Publishing will only accept material that is committed to Christian values and beliefs. We are looking for works of fiction that honor God, exalt Biblical truths, and provide inspiration for Christians as well as for non-Christians. We publish 2-3 titles a year for children, young adults, and adults. Categories: Fiction, Adventure, Chapter Books, Drama Collections, Early Readers, Historical, Humor, Middle Readers, Mystery, Picture Books, Poetry, Romance, Short Story Collections.

We will accept some non-fiction such as: Children’s Prayer and Devotional Collections and Biographies

We are interested in books with appealing characters our readers can identify with. We like original and compelling plots about characters who find biblically principled solutions for the issues and concerns that people deal with as they navigate through the business of living. We want to see characters that change for the better; characters that grow in their faith, and in their relationships with others.

Submission Requirements: Send cover letter, author’s resume and a 1-2 page synopsis accompanied by 2 sample chapters and a chapter by chapter synopsis. For children’s books send cover letter, author’s resume, synopsis and completed manuscript. Please allow 4-8 weeks for a response.

Submissions must be double-spaced and neatly typed. If the submissions we receive meet our needs we will contact the author for further details and a completed and edited manuscript.

Authors that we publish must have a website and a blog. They must have a marketing plan as they are required to promote their book(s).
