Are We The Right Publisher For You?
Clay Jars Publishing accepts manuscripts that are committed to Christian values and beliefs. We publish works of fiction and non-fiction that honor God, exalt Biblical truths, and inspire readers. We publish 2-3 titles a year for youths, young adults, and adults.
Fiction:
We are interested in publishing books with appealing characters that can be identified with. We like original and compelling plots about characters who find biblically principled solutions for the issues and concerns dealt with as they navigate life.
We want to see characters that change for the better; characters that grow in their faith, and in their relationships with others.
Adventure, Chapter Books, Drama Collections, Early Readers, Historical, Humor, Middle Readers, Mystery, Picture Books (only by invitation), Poetry, Romance, Short Story Collections, Novels.
Non-Fiction:
Biographies, Devotional Collections, Poetry, Prayer Collections, Self-help for personal problem-solving.

If we accept the manuscript, when we send a contract, we will expect the author to send us an appropriate head-shot photo to use for publicity, and a short biography. The contract will not be completely honored until we receive the needed information.
Authors that we publish should consider having a website, a blog, or some type of social media presence as they are expected to promote and market their book(s).
